History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Fortune-teller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Shane was born the youngest of three triplets. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Gomory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Navigator. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Navigator; and to settle down with his crush
