History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, William and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the east to a Sage, Charles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has achieved small success as a Sage.

He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and further expansion of business
