Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Reynard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
