Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Randal is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Randal hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. After coming to the age of reason, Hugh took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
