History: He is a Slaad in disguise. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Baker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and balancing his hectic life and new baker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fisher, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and doesn't want to be a fisher and was forced into it by his family
