History: Born in the west to a Carter, Godfrey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

Description: 5'9" and muscular, this southern man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Lance hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
