History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Adam was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and he wants revenge against giants

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Cory has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
