Jocelyn Ridley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Jocelyn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was raised in a forest tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Jocelyn took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Bertram Northcott, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears an entirely tan suit with green socks and a vest with buckled shoes, and carries sais. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
