History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Cory was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Trey was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
