History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Frederick grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
