History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now owns his own business.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
