History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anselm grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents enrolled him in a Druid school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and retire the richest man in the east
