Personality: He is a Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now owns his own business.

He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aldous is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Carpenter profession.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Carpenter again.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Herbalist. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'8". He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He wears his golden hair up. He has hazel eyes.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Adelard was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to get a good night's sleep
