Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Simon's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Simon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Simon never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
