Jocelyn Moreno, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This malnourished man wears dark leathers with embroidery. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the left. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Jocelyn was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
Ideals: Joker. Bonds: Poor, Attractive, Adventurer, Family. Occupation: Shipwright
Voice: Deep voice with rolling R's

Robert Ryland, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are blue and beady.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Robert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Robert took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Charles Fawcett, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and he perpetually has his falchion ready. His golden hair is lengthy. His eyes are green and catlike.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a soapmaker and was forced into it by his family
Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Antagonistic, Fearful. Bonds: Family, Poor. Occupation: Soapmaker

Tim Weld, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: With pastel face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a blue Stetson hat and blue clothes. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born in the west to a Weaver, Tim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Weaver responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a weaver and was forced into it by his family
