Personality: He is fixated on the number 48. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Gilbert Barney, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and carries falchions. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family
