History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a crossbow on his belt. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Robert will drive conversation. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Robert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Actor. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Everard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: He wears a green coat over a tan low-cut shirt, and a small hat upon his head. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his sickle, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. His ears are large.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Fortune-teller, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to prove his worth to the world
