He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
