History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bellfounder. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
