Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. His hair is cut close to his head. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with his Layabout mother left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was born into a rich family. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
