Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a red coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a broad hat upon his head. He has silver hair. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jocelyn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Conrad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Conrad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he's repulsed by the pc

Personality: John wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is an amazing painter.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
