Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Ralf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Ralf began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
