History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Bernard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a violet cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings and is in decent physical shape. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Randal embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Chad has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
