Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing a long, white, dusty cloak, and is pretty ugly. He has silver hair. His ears are large.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'2". He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, and his gloved hand is found clutching a shortspear. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Robert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and to be a baker again

Personality: Dean speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a great chef.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Dean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away
