Description: This man stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Courier but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Born to a Barrister, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Anselm abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Trey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Trey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His silver hair is braided into rings. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He dresses well, wearing tan shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has golden hair. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he feels threatened by others

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is renowned for his bright violet suits and hats. His brown hair is lengthy. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Courier. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he has a crush on the local courier
