History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Born in the east to a Knight, Everard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
