History: Trey was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Trey was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Trey's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a Navigator soon after.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
