History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. After coming to the age of reason, Cory took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a assassin and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
