Description: He stands about 5'5" and wears a violet cloak and cross-gartered yellow stockings. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Henry was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is auburn and curly. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has worked as a Bookbinder like his father before him.

Description: He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a pastel coat. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. He wears his black hair up. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
