History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Guard. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Gerard was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and to be a soapmaker again
