History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Dean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears an entirely grey suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His head has been shaved. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Lance was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spice Merchant. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
