History: Richard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Trey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He's also a talented Body Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and further expansion of business
