History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Richard began to lead the lost caravan. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He got into the Assassin business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Human Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
