His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He takes great joy in being the best Knight in town.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He has achieved small success as a Knight.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Miller who has hired him part-time. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of a Mayor, who enjoyed hunting, Randal was taken on many hunting expeditions. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Randal's homeland. Randal decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts
