Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Hubert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Arnold's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
