History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Robert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Chad liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week.
