The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born into a rich family. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has achieved small success as a Sculptor.
