This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'0" and wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: The child of a Carpenter, who enjoyed hunting, Roland was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and revenge

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
