Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Manfred liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Nicholas and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Nicholas discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Nicholas fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Balimaar never married again. History: Lance was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
