His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rolf is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the east. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Arnold was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Roland was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
