Jocelyn Birkenhead, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An older man who wears many layers of old clothing at all times, he is not a threatening figure. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
Ideals: Philantrophist, Logical. Flaws: Ugly, Insomniac, Mundane. Bonds: Poor. Occupation: Miller

Hugh Presley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is wearing a long, white, dusty cloak. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. He is baby faced.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
Ideals: Opinionated, Logical. Flaws: Ugly, Racist. Bonds: Religious, Family. Occupation: Painter
Voice: Excited and jittery

Rolf Browning, Male Human [Permalink]

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Justin Blankley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears just a black suit, and he perpetually has his whip ready. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.
Personality: Justin wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Justin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Justin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
