History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roland's homeland. Roland decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against goblins
