Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a black shirt, with a grey mid length shorts with grey tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are likewise violet.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Solomon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and revenge

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Crown-heir, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Frederick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A middle-aged man, he is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and brown handkerchief worn on his right side, and is pretty ugly. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Hubert hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
