He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Bounty Hunter, but he got bored and became a Banker. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and balancing his hectic life and new banker responsibilities is difficult

History: Bernard was born with his mother's beautiful face. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
