Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many yellow ritualistic tattoos. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his trident with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Performer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Hugh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hugh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Aldous is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was born in the west. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This tall, slender man is renowned for his bright white suits and hats. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
