He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Norman wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Norman lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
