History: He was born in a small desert village. In his youth he was a Banker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a axe, but if one is not available he will default to his hammer, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Roland is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed grey hat.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He takes great joy in being the best Merchant in town.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
