History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Cory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Gifted from a young age, Manfred studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Manfred took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
