Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. History: Born in the south to a Cook, Chad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortbow, but if one is not available he will default to his sword. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Charles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and revenge
