History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now owns his own business.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Bernard was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He tends to his Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
